Welcome to St. Mel's Parish Center Project Website. This site will provide parishioners with information about the planning, fund raising efforts and building of our Parish Center which will be located across Pennsylvania Avenue from Doheny Hall. There will be architectural renderings, floor plans, a description/background and vision of the project, a project progress recap, an area for Frequently Asked Questions and, as the building begins, photographs of the progress being made. Below on this page is the background and description of this project There are links to several of the items listed above. In addition there is a link that allows you to email the Project Manager with any questions or concerns you may have about the project.
Background and Description of St. Mel Parish Center
The initial concept and requirements for St. Mel Parish Center began and the original Parish
Center Committee was established in February 2008. The product of this
group is in a Slide Presentation (see link for Original Concept Committee Work
below). This group disbanded February 2009. Once the requirements were documented, new committees were formed to continue the work
towards designing and developing the vision and reality of St. Mel's Parish
Center.
